LEADER-funded project “Re-discovering the Antonine Wall” is moving ahead well with their activities. Apart from the physical developments including installing replica Roman distance slabs and outdoor interpretive play facilities, our partners are on the look out for people who want to get involved with their local heritage. Spring 2019 enews

Our Spring 2019 e-news is out – read it here! We have now committed all our available funds (and more) to 37 projects within the Kelvin Valley LEADER area. This is made up of our original grant allocation of £2,118,300, plus an extra 5% of funds earmarked for programme administration, that we calculated would not be needed for this purpose. This brings our total grant funding for local projects to £2,271,053.  Our grants have levered in an additional £2.8 million

Crowdfunder to launch Crowdfund Scotland The UK’s #1 rewards crowdfunding platform, Crowdfunder, with the support of nine Scottish LEADER areas, has announced a partnership to help crowdfunding projects across Scotland turn their most innovative ideas into reality. The two year Crowdfund Scotland programme will provide coaching and support for projects in nine participating LEADER areas: Forth Valley and Lomond, Fife, Scottish Borders, Rural Perth and Kinross, Tyne  Esk, West Lothian, Kelvin Valley and Falkirk, Greater Renfrewshire and Inverclyde and Lanarkshire.
